How to send verification invites in bulk

Written by Liv Kohlen

Bulk invite lets you send verification invites to many people at once, instead of one at a time.

You'll find it under the "Bulk invite" tab when creating a verification. There are two ways to send bulk invites:

Option 1: Type or paste emails

Type email addresses directly, or paste a list separated by spaces, commas, or semicolons. There is a maximum 20 emails that can be sent per batch.

This method only sends a verification link - no name, date of birth, or address can be provided alongside the emails - the person will enter these details themselves during the verification.

If you want to provide these details, use the CSV upload instead (see Option 2).

Option 2: Upload a CSV

Upload a .csv file with one row per person. Use the Download sample file button in the upload area to get a template with the correct columns already set up.

  • Maximum file size: 10MB.

  • Maximum 1,000 rows.

  • Any name, date of birth, or address you include become claims - during verification, the person's evidence are checked against these. This is the main benefit of the CSV method over manual email: you can pre-fill what you already know about someone, and the system verifies it matches.

  • If a row has an error (missing email, incorrect format, or an incomplete address), the upload will fail and you'll be shown which rows failed and why.
