Don't duplicate checks
If you use Risk as well as Verify, make sure you are not running the same checks twice. Running the same check in quick succession won't tell you anything new.
We cache some Risk check results for 4 hours to make it harder to overspend in this way.
Disable checks you don't need
The more checks you run, the more different kinds of risks you control, but more checks is not always better.
Make it easier for customers to pass first time
Vouchsafe will not charge until a verification is completed and all the evidence you requested has been collected, but if you decide not to accept it and re-run a check, you may be charged again.
Enable compliant alternatives in your Verify flows so that your customers have the best possible chance of passing first time.
